Bhai Gurdas Library, a central facility is housed in a beautifully architecture pyramid shaped building and located at a central place. As Professor Incharge, I will try to make a memorable experience when you visit this academic seat of learning. We have a 24-hour open air-conditioned reading room and a dedicated digital lounge to access journals, books and other online resources. Library Management System (LMS-KOHA) software has been the backbone of automatic issuing and return of books and digital entry gates for automatic entry-exit to the library are state of the art facilities. Every student, research scholars, faculty and non-teaching staff are issued a RFID enabled plastic card along with an additional feature of biometric entry into the library. Library hosts different sections like Punjabi Reference, Rare Book and OPAC Book Search. Periodical section has a vast number of foreign and Indian journals and subscribes to about two journal newspapers that are available on a daily basis. The library also has a conference hall at the top floor for academic interactions. All library sections are under CCTV surveillance for effective monitoring and students safety.
